The COO of Aubay Portugal was featured on the 'Dito ao Ouvido' podcast by Jornal Económico, where he discussed the growth of technological consulting in Portugal
During the conversation, he highlighted the growing demand for consulting services "not only from the local market but also from international companies, which see Portugal as an opportunity to count on highly qualified professionals with skills in various languages, such as English."
Technological innovation has been one of the main drivers of this growth, rapidly transforming the market. "Companies need people with specific skills to help develop projects and applications to support this constant innovation," stated Aubay’s COO.
For many companies, the speed of technological transformation represents a challenge, and external consulting has proven to be an effective solution. "Our team, quite large for the national market, allows us to deliver skills quickly so that our clients can keep up with the market’s development and stay ahead of the technologies being used, without needing to expand their internal teams," he explained.
During the conversation, he also addressed the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI), which, according to José Cruz, "will bring many challenges but also opportunities" and deliver more value to companies and their clients, as many organizations are already using it to automate daily processes.
Despite the growing digitalization, the COO of Aubay in Portugal emphasized that "innovation comes from people" and that "the real difference lies in the trust-based relationships we build."
Finally, he highlighted Aubay's recent collaboration with Google engineers on a data engineering project. "It was something we are really proud of, to be able to say we were the first company to have that data market solution working with Google’s platform."
José Cruz concluded the conversation by stating that companies in Portugal are increasingly prepared for digital transformation and that Aubay continues to stand out, offering innovative, high-quality solutions to its clients.
