Aubay Portugal was present at Web Summit 2025, which took place from November 11 to 13 in Lisbon

During the three days of the event, the company strengthened its position as a leading technology partner, combining innovation, proximity, and expertise in digital transformation projects.

For José Cruz, Chief Operating Officer at Aubay Portugal, participating in the event is a strategic pillar for the company:

“I consider our presence at Web Summit essential to reinforce our positioning as a technology consulting company that is always attentive to the market. Being on this innovation stage allows us to identify new business opportunities, strengthen partnerships with clients, and bring us closer to qualified talent in a highly dynamic environment. He also adds that 'participating in the event demonstrates our ongoing commitment to digital transformation and to the technological evolution of the global market in which we operate.'”

With the “Feels Like Home” concept, Aubay Portugal’s stand was designed to be more than just an exhibition space: a home away from home

The stand served as a meeting point where visitors, clients, partners, and technology professionals could learn more about Aubay’s services, exchange ideas, and work in a welcoming environment while enjoying a coffee.

Throughout the three days, the stand welcomed hundreds of visitors, from technology and innovation leaders to professionals seeking new career opportunities, as well as companies interested in Team Extension solutions, turnkey projects, and nearshore services.

On November 11, Aubay Portugal hosted Let’s Connect, an intimate gathering held in parallel with Web Summit, at IBM’s facilities in Lisbon

The exclusive event brought together a selected group of technology leaders for a direct and unfiltered conversation about the role of Artificial Intelligence in large-scale organizations.

The session featured the participation of José Cruz, Pedro Gouveia (COO and CTO of Aubay Portugal), and Luís Gregório (IBM), who shared complementary perspectives on the adoption of AI in complex business environments and highly regulated sectors. In a deliberately informal and experience-driven format, Let’s Connect moved away from the traditional conference model, focusing instead on the discussion of real challenges, critical decisions, and concrete opportunities in the implementation of AI solutions.

More than just a technology event, it established itself as a space for genuine peer exchange, designed for CTOs, IT Directors, and digital transformation leaders who seek to go beyond superficial networking and discuss what truly works when the goal is to turn AI into tangible business value.

A Partner for Digital Transformation

Participation in Web Summit 2025 reinforces Aubay Portugal’s strategy to establish itself as a key partner in the digital transformation of companies, both in Portugal and in nearshore markets, notably Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and the Netherlands.

With Team Extension services, turnkey projects, and nearshore solutions, Aubay helps organizations build and scale dedicated technology teams, accelerate digital roadmaps, and ensure continuous access to highly specialized talent, all within a flexible, cost-efficient, and business-focused model.

More than discussing digital transformation in the abstract, Aubay Portugal positions itself as the partner that designs, implements, and grows technology hubs in Portugal, connecting European companies with engineering and innovation teams that deliver real value every day.
